Photography ExhibitionNational volunteering charity TimeBank challenges perceptions of ageing with a photography exhibition of older volunteers in the 21st century taken by renowned photographer Lorentz Gullachsen. The exhibition aims to raise awareness amongst those over 55 of the positive aspects of volunteering and features two volunteers from the National Trust's Back to Backs project in Birmingham.Exhibition dates: 28 April - September 2006 Photographer: Lorentz Gullachsen is an international commercial photographer with 30 year's experience, working with agents in London, Paris and New York. His work has taken him from fashion and advertising to cars. More recently he has focussed on location work, landscapes and people. He has won a number of prestigious awards and has a collection in the National Portrait Gallery. Recently he worked on Birmingham's Movers and Shakers exhibition producing atmospheric images to reflect the ‘faces of a changing city'.
